a scrappy post!!

hey here is a new layout i did for my LSS ! i was totally dreading it because i NEVER do *heritage* pages...but, i am quite happy with how it turned out! I did a couple of fun techniques that i'll tell you about!

first i stamped that cute lil' owl stamp on a transparency and heated it up on my stove top to give it a bit of demension then cut it out and glued it to my cute lil' chipboard tree {maya road}. I also covered the tree, trunk and bird with the same K&Co heritage paper then i stitched and added some pretty green bling! totally love it! i drew some lines on the trunk to make it look like faux woodgrain, but i think i should of added more lines...Then on the second page i stapled some lace on then on top of the first staples i stapled again, then removed it and added seed beads and put it back on the page! just a little more texture! I layered some pretty prima flowers and used brads to adhere them to my page. I also used some cute letter stamps from EKSuccess that i got a micheals.

so thats that. hope you like the scrappy post. I think i liked it! i will definetly do more.
